Safe Steps Outreach
Welcome to our outreach! Fyrebird Recovery's street outreach brings harm reduction support directly into the community.
Meeting People Where They Are
Our outreach teams travel designated routes throughout Horry County to provide practical support, resources, and connection to care — harm reduction supplies, hygiene items, food and water, and more.
Outreach is peer-informed, nonjudgmental, and rooted in respect for autonomy and lived experience. Street outreach is often the first point of connection — it builds trust, reduces harm, and opens pathways to additional support when and if people want it.
To connect with our team, clients can request a stop or arrange a meetup at one of the designated locations on our routes. Just reach out and we'll coordinate with you directly.
A Note on Safety & Privacy
For the safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff, exact outreach times are not publicly posted. If you are seeking outreach services or would like to request a meetup at a stop near you, please contact our office directly so we can coordinate safely and appropriately.
